Application process
At the beginning of the visa hours tickets with numbers are assigned to applicants.
This is done orderly, without any payment and according to the order in that the applicants arrived to the Embassy.
Applicants with numbers are generally attended to the same day. Alternatively, when there is no chance that the visa officer could attend to all the present applicants the same day, those one with numbers will be given priority the next visa day. Thus, they do not have to keep waiting in vain when knowing they will be treated the next visa day.
During the months of June, July and August students´ and other long term visas application are attended to on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays according to the instructions given by the visa officer. Their application and visa/legalisation fees will be collected and then they will be called to interview with consul. During the rest of the year they apply during common visa hours.
